Our client, owner of several restaurants in Montérégie, is looking to fill a Kitchen Manager position. This is a high-volume, very busy rotisserie-style restaurant. You will be responsible for managing, mobilizing, and developing your team, guiding them towards success. The client places great importance on teamwork, a healthy company culture, and the well-being of their employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality, service, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
• Support your team by actively participating in kitchen tasks
• Design, implement, and supervise the action plan for your area
• Identify and train team members and participate in hiring the management team
• Ensure adherence to performance ratios (CPHP, food costs, controllable costs, energy costs, ICPC, etc.)
• Establish work schedules for team members in your area
• Participate in the organization and control of financial, material, and technological resources for your area
• Manage and ensure discipline, performance management, motivation, and other aspects in your area
• Perform other related tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant personnel management experience required
• Experience in the kitchen or restaurant industry
• Excellent proficiency in French
• Proficiency in English (an asset)
• Hold a food handler or establishment manager certification issued by MAPAQ (an asset)
