Description
Our client, who owns several restaurants in Montérégie, is looking to fill the position of Kitchen Manager. This is a high-volume, busy rotisserie restaurant. You will be responsible for managing, mobilizing, and developing your team, guiding them toward success. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with quality, service, and kitchen cleanliness standards;
- Support your team by actively participating in kitchen tasks;
- Design, implement, and oversee the action plan for your department;
- Identify and train team members and participate in the hiring of your management team;
- Ensure compliance with performance ratios (food cost, food rotation);
- Set work schedules for your team members;
- Participate in organizing and controlling financial, material, and technological resources in your department;
- Manage and ensure discipline, performance management, motivation, and other aspects of your department;
- Perform other related tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant personnel management experience required;
- Experience in the kitchen or restaurant industry;
- Excellent command of French;
- Proficiency in English (an asset);
- Hold a food handler or establishment manager certification issued by MAPAQ (an asset).

Conditions
- Work mode: In-person;
- Position type: Permanent full-time;
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime and/or evening, with every other weekend off;
- Salary range: $25 to $35 per hour (based on experience).
