Our client, owner of several restaurants in Montérégie, is looking to fill a Kitchen Manager position. As the kitchen’s conductor, you will be responsible for managing, motivating, and developing your team, guiding them towards success. The client places great importance on teamwork, a healthy company culture, and the development of its employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the application of quality, service, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen;
• Support your team by actively participating in kitchen tasks;
• Design, implement, and oversee the action plan for your area;
• Identify and train team members and participate in hiring your management team;
• Ensure compliance with performance ratios (CPHP, ingredient costs, controllable costs, energy costs, ICPC, etc.);
• Establish work schedules for your team members;
• Participate in organizing and controlling financial, material, and technological resources in your area;
• Manage and ensure discipline, performance management, motivation, and other aspects of your sector;
• Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in personnel management;
• Experience in the restaurant industry or a related field;
• Excellent command of French;
• Proficiency in English (an asset);
• Certification as a food handler or establishment manager from MAPAQ (an asset).
