Description
Our client, a daycare owner in Montreal, is looking to fill a position for a Daycare Executive Assistant. Under the supervision of management, the assistant supports the administrative and organizational management of the establishment while ensuring communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. The assistant also ensures compliance with current regulations in subsidized daycare centers.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daycare operations ;
- Ensure the overall safety of the children ;
- Check attendance records by moving from class to class ;
- Ensure educators have everything they need ;
- Make sure work schedules coincide with classes ;
- Prepare, organize, and manage administrative documents (children’s files, attendance records, reports) ;
- Maintain databases and files related to children, parents, and employees ;
- Organize meetings with parents, staff, and external stakeholders, and follow up accordingly ;
- Undertake special projects under supervision (event organization, training) ;
- Welcome and respond to parents’ requests, provide necessary information, and address questions or concerns ;
- Manage minor conflicts and ensure a harmonious work environment ;
- Work closely with staff members ;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in daycare or a related field in Quebec ;
- Experience in subsidized daycare ;
- Strong experience in personnel management ;
- Proficient with technology and computer tools ;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French ;
- Basic proficiency in English ;
- Proficiency in the software Gestionnaire: Module Enfant (an asset) ;
- Early Childhood Education diploma (an asset) ;
- Experience in human resources, CNESST, or in working with children with special needs (an asset).

Conditions
- Mode: On-site ;
- Job Type: Permanent full-time position (35 hours/week) ;
