Are you seeking a position in a stimulating and dynamic environment?

Our client, an institution located in Montreal, is currently looking for a Stationary Machine Mechanic - Class 4B for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operation of water chillers for air conditioning, hot water boilers for heating, and steam boilers for humidification;
  • Respond to service calls to identify the nature of defects in various systems and equipment;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of air filtration and water treatment systems;
  • Perform pressure and temperature readings, record data, and adjust parameters as needed;
  • Keep performance records up to date;
  • Comply with health and safety standards at work;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • DEP in stationary/steam machinery mechanics recognized by the Quebec Ministry;
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Quebec;
  • Certificate or qualification card for class B refrigeration equipment recognized by the Quebec Ministry (an asset);
  • Certificate or qualification card for operating 4th class steam engines recognized by the Quebec Ministry (an asset);
  • Must possess safety boots;
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills;
  • Precision, resourcefulness, autonomy, reliability, and attention to detail.

Conditions

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 38.75 hours/week;
  • Period: Daytime employment with the possibility of evening and night shifts in case of emergency;
  • Mandate: Temporary with the possibility of permanence;
  • Salary Range: $25.20 to $31.92/hour (based on experience).
