Our client, a general contractor specializing in building construction, is looking to fill a Senior Building Estimator position. This is a permanent, full-time position located on the north shore of Montreal.
We are looking for an experienced individual to conduct in-depth analyses of tender documents, perform estimates, and coordinate and manage various subcontractors.

Responsibilities
- Analyze all standing offer documents, including plans and specifications;
- Send invitations to subcontractors to submit their bids;
- Manage change notices and ensure follow-ups with subcontractors;
- Evaluate the prices proposed by subcontractors and incorporate bids into the budget;
- Submit the project for management validation;
- Administer documentation on management and file transfer sites;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Hold a DEC in architecture or estimation;
- Possess approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in estimation in Quebec, ideally within a general contractor firm or in any other relevant experience;
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
- Excellent command of the French language;
- Knowledge of BIM (a significant asset).

Conditions
- Work mode: Hybrid;
- Job type: Permanent full-time;
- Schedule: Monday to Friday;
- Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 (depending on experience).
