Are you seeking a position in a stimulating and dynamic environment?
Our client, an institution located in Montreal, is currently looking for an industrial electrician for a temporary position with the possibility of permanent hiring.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all electrical equipment of transmission and distribution networks at low and medium voltage (up to 25,000 volts);
- Install, modify, repair, or replace electrical equipment in accordance with applicable standards and regulations;
- Handle electrical equipment to maintain a safe environment for the community;
- Ensure the reliability of systems;
- Comply with health and safety standards at work;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- DEP in electromechanics of automated systems, electricity, automation, and/or maintenance electricity, recognized by the Quebec Ministry;
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Quebec (manufacturing, industrial, medium voltage networks);
- Experience in diagnosing and solving problems in complex distribution networks (an asset);
- Experience in diagnosing and solving problems in specialized equipment such as variable frequency drives and UPS with transfer switch (an asset);
- Certificate or qualification card in electricity and License C, recognized by the Quebec Ministry (an asset);
- Must possess safety boots;
- Teamwork and collaboration skills;
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness, autonomy, reliability, and concern for detail.
Conditions
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - 38.75 hours/week;
- Period: Daytime employment with the possibility of evening and night shifts in case of emergency;
- Mandate: Temporary with the possibility of permanence;
- Salary Range: $26.01 to $36.65/hour (based on experience).
