Various large-scale projects are located in Montreal and on the South Shore.

  • Utilize your own network of qualified and reliable subcontractors to quickly mobilize teams;
  • Solicit and compare detailed quotes from several subcontractors for each type of task;
  • Ensure that quotes include precise timelines and clear contractual conditions and analyze the value for money;
  • Analyze and negotiate rates with subcontractors based on the duration and volume of the project, while planning a margin for contingencies or necessary adjustments during the project;
  • Implement a real-time expense tracking system to avoid budget overruns;
  • Coordinate and supervise teams on the ground, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met;
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, insurers, and other stakeholders;
  • Ensure rigorous tracking of costs, schedules, and regulatory requirements throughout the project;
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and submit them to clients and insurers;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the post-disaster restoration field;
  • Experience with asbestos;
  • Strong network of contacts in the construction, subcontractor, and supplier sectors;
  • In-depth knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and disaster-related regulations;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment;
  • Knowledge of Xactimate software or other project management software, as well as disaster tracking tools;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Knowledge of Symbility software (an asset);
  • IICRC certification or equivalent (an asset).

Benefits

  • Comprehensive group insurance;
  • Flexible vacation policy (2 to 4 weeks);
  • Truck and cellphone provided;
  • Opportunity to participate in diversified and large-scale projects offering stimulating challenges;
  • Autonomy in project management, with the support of a specialized team;
  • Growth within a constantly expanding company.

Conditions

  • Type of position: Permanent, full-time;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday;
  • Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 (depending on experience), with 2 to 5% commission (based on performance).
